How much do I charge for Filming?

My day rate, including 2x 4K Sony cameras and lighting kit is £800 per day, plus, expenses. (Video Marketing and Event Videography are two different services and fees.)

A 50% deposit is payable in-advance to secure dates; and the remaining balance is due on the shoot date.

I’m willing to travel across the UK, Europe and overseas and I own various cameras, lenses, lighting, audio/sound and accessories as below.

    • 2 x 4K Sony Cameras (FX3a & A7IV) and;

      • Manfrotto 502 Tripod

      • Manfrotto Travel Tripod

      • 1x Sony ECM1 XLR Microphone (Gunshot Mic)

      • XLR Hand Unit

    • Sigma f2.8 28-70/105mm DG DN and;

    • Sigma Art f1.4 50mm

    • Sigma f2.8 120-300/450mm DG OS S

    • 3 x Wireless Microphones RODE ME and;

      • 2x lapel microphones

      • 1x RODE Videopro Microphone (9V battery-powered) [Boom Mic] and;

        • 1x Westcott Boom Arm

        • 1x Manfrotto 1004BAC Lighting Stand

    • 1x Aputure Amaran 300c (mains-powered) and;

      • 1x Manfrotto 1004BAC Lighting Stand

      • 1x Aputure Duel V-Mount Portable Power Bank

        • if powering off 2x V-mount batteries, 1-hour of power at 50% output

    • 1x Ulanzi 120-VL (V-mount powered) and;

      • 1x Westcott Boom Arm

      • 1x 15 lb Kupo Shot Bag

      • 1x Manfrotto 1004BAC Lighting Stand

      • 4x FX Lion V-Mount Batteries

    • Additional accessories including any of the below may incur added costs

    • 2x MKE 600 Microphone (XLR phantom-powered / 2x AA battery-powered) and;

      • 2x 7-metre XLR cables

      • 2x XLR to 3.5mm jack

    • 2x Tentacle Time-Coded Audio Recorders AND 1x Tentacle Time-Code Generator

    • BOYA UHF Wireless Microphone System inc. 

      • 2x transmitters; 1x receiver; and 2x lapel mics

    • Day Rate & Equipment: £800 per day includes a 2-camera 4K Sony setup, standard lighting and audio; Travel (£0.45/mile + parking/public transport) and lunch are billed as expenses.

    • Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is required to secure your dates, with the remaining balance due on the day of the shoot.

    • Hours & Logistics: Standard sessions run 9 AM – 7 PM (including setup, pack-down, and a 1-hour lunch). Overtime or out-of-hours requests must be pre-agreed at the time of booking.

    • Rescheduling & Cancellations: Dates can be moved only once with 2–14 days notice. Short-notice cancellations or subsequent changes will result in a non-refundable deposit.

    • File Delivery: Rushes delivered via Google Drive the next working day, or onto a client-provided 2TB SSD on the shoot day.
